Ritual Performance

...or how to ground a circus artist?

The Earth is calling us to connect with her as  a conscious being. To reclaim our feminine wisdom, our mythical, mystical sense of knowing, beyond what the mind can understand.

In this ritual performance I am evoking the sense of this wisdom in the role of an older woman, guiding the young artist into a deeper state of being. For the first time for her, performing without thinking how it looks, on the outside. Instead, going inwards and surrendering into a transformational process.

​

We used the peat from the depths of marshlands as our helper, to feel a greater connection to the Earth. 

Healing the witch wound, of being betrayed by other women or getting judged by the society. Connecting and supporting each other to grow and expand, celebrating the co-creation between us. Claiming our sovereign right to be exactly who we are.
