Site Specific Performance

Special performance created for 100 traditional fishermen from around the world who came to visit Kukkolaforsen rapids where there is a local tradition for fishing is an archaic way that is still practiced today.

​Becoming the Spirit of this River, my home river, between Sweden and Finland. A fisherwoman and a fish, waving her nets and dressed in seaweed. Both the river and it's spirit. 

​This performance has since travelled to other waters.
