SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST

Solo Performance

Survival of the Fittest is questioning the misinterpretations of this Darwinian theory that has shaped our modern world: that the strongest has the right to dominate. Competition is still encouraged and winners praised, anywhere from talent shows to the utopian concept of 'continuous growth' most countries still base their wellbeing on. How far do we want to push ourselves? What does it really mean to be strong? In 'Survival Of The Fittest' one woman balances between the images of what it means to be fit, superior and in control - as well as falling out of the grace into the animalistic, the chaotic and the vulnerable.  In search of true freedom she finds vulnerability again. There is enormous potential in the purity and rawness of our being.
